--Paid volunteer time --SUMMARY:The Maintenance Manager will
oversee the maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure required
tasks are completed ensuring operational effectiveness.--
OWNERSHIP:
Direct and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
Direct and manage maintenance excellence and reliability
initiatives.---- Provide leadership and training to accomplish
department and company objectives.
Certify compliance with all regulatory requirements in the
maintenance department.
Drive a culture of high performance and accountability of integrity
and safety.
Assist in planning and execution of all required maintenance
repairs and special projects. Implement cost effective systems of
control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and
salaries while minimizing overtime.
Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure the total manufacturing
objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective
manner.
Communicate policy and procedures to employees and ensure
enforcement is consistent.
This position has responsibilities related to Food Safety and
Quality.
Uphold and manage team participation in all Corporate
Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and
MMAD volunteering opportunities. Perform other duties as assigned.
--SUPERVISORY:This position has supervisory
responsibilities.--QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must have either
a High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and five
years related experience andor training; or equivalent combination
of education and experience.
Applicants must have the ability to perform basic mathematical
function and the ability to prepare correspondence.-- To perform
this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of MS
Office and working knowledge of CMMS.----PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, see,
talk and hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop or
kneel. The employee must regularly lift andor move up to 50
pounds.-- Specific vision abilities required by this job include
close vision. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee
is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and to wet andor
humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme
cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The
physical demands and work environment characteristics described
here are representative of those that must be met or that an
employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of
this job.--
