Great benefits and paid time off offered at the start.Job DetailsJobot is currently partnering with a well established, privately held company looking to hire a hands-on Controller, who, along with the CFO, will lead the accounting and finance department. Candidates will need a successful track record in setting priorities; as well as excellent analytic, organization, and communication skills. This role is 100% in office in Spartanburg, SC.Principle Duties and Responsibilities: --- Responsible for supervising the accounting department, which will includes accounts payable and accounts receivable/staff accountant. --- Responsible for timely, accurate, and efficient accounting close on a monthly basis. --- Manages accounting functions on a day-to-day basis including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, treasury management, procurement and general ledger accounting. --- Assists the CFO with preparation and completion of the fiscal year budgeting process, evaluates business unit performance against budget, and develops forecasts/reforecasts to provide an accurate projection of financial performance.Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.Requirements: --- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks. --- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task --- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team and in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines --- Bachelor s degree in accounting or related field preferredInterested in hearing more?
