us! Job Description: This job is responsible for managing the
company's exposure to insurance risk and/or claims management. Key
responsibilities include selecting and overseeing negotiations with
insurers and vendors, expense control and ensuring accuracy of
budgets and reserves. Job expectations include conducting exposure
evaluations, claims processing, insurance hedging, underwriting,
delivering trend analysis, and driving loss prevention initiatives
on behalf of stakeholders. Responsibilities: Identifies,
researches, analyzes, structures, and negotiates insurance hedges
via underwriting Investigates, litigates, subrogates, and
negotiates insurance settlements via claims processing Identifies,
analyzes, structures, and negotiates surety bonds Consolidates,
reviews and maintains policy documentation, monitors insurer credit
quality and loss developments Develops and delivers executive and
management level reporting and presentations Leverages underwriting
and claims knowledge to provide advice on strategic solutions for
exposure hedging Required Qualifications: Demonstrated analytical
skills, intellectual curiosity Resourceful, able to research
information – a problem solver Excellent communication, teamwork
and business partnering skills Intermediate to advanced experience
with Microsoft suite Proven writing skills to all different
audience levels Desired Qualifications: 1-2 years of Insurance
industry experience preferred but not required BS/BA degree
(Insurance & Risk Management and / or Finance preferred) or related
work experience Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma
/ GED / Secondary School or equivalent Skills: Claims Management
