high-quality care and advocacy for our clients. We are seeking a
detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to join our Quality
Management team. In this role, you will be the guardian of client
information, ensuring that every record is accurate, secure, and
compliant with the highest legal and ethical standards. What You
Will Do | Responsibilities As a Medical Records Coordinator, you
will manage the lifecycle of client information—from initial intake
to secure disposal. Your daily impact includes: Record Integrity:
Maintain and update client records within our Electronic Health
Record (EHR) systems and physical files. Compliance & Consent:
Obtain necessary signatures on consent forms from clients and
Legally Responsible Persons (LRP) to ensure departmental
compliance. Information Security: Process record requests from
providers and authorized parties while strictly adhering to HIPAA
and privacy regulations. Quality Oversight: Review records for
accuracy; flag and correct missing or erroneous information. Audit
Support: Retrieve and prepare documentation for audits, legal
reviews, and internal quality checks. Administrative Coordination:
Create monthly documentation spreadsheets and oversee record
retention and secure disposal schedules. Support & Training: Assist
staff in locating documentation and provide training on proper
record-keeping procedures. Client Advocacy: Follow up with clients
and LRPs to educate and assist with inquiries regarding their
records. What We Are Looking For | Qualifications Education: High
school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Expertise: Solid understanding of clinical documentation, EHR
software, and HIPAA privacy laws. Skill Set: Exceptional
organizational skills with a "eagle eye" for detail and accuracy.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent
customer service to clients and staff alike. Work Ethic: Ability to
work independently, manage sensitive data with the utmost
confidentiality, and meet deadlines. Location & Environment This is
a hybrid position . While you will enjoy the flexibility of remote
work, you must have a conducive work environment with: Stable,
