Job Description:

Job Purpose/Summary: We are looking for a savvy digital and content marketer with a penchant for developing, planning, and writing engaging content. You will be responsible for helping to contribute to the voice of Polydeck by leading content development efforts and optimizing campaign language across multiple online and offline channels related to the marketing and product strategy. To ensure success, you should show a keen eye for detail and be highly creative. A skilled content marketing specialist should be expert storytellers and have a proven track record of driving growth through content creation, copy writing and search engine marketing.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities: - Copywriting and Content Development: Own content creation. Guide, develop and manage the content creation process and calendar for the Polydeck brand and products by drafting and editing copy for marketing content as needed. Work cross-functionally with content experts to ensure content is in-line with product, sales, engineering, and marketing objectives. This includes but is not limited to case studies, scripts, landing pages, product releases, training documentation, email marketing campaigns, internal communications, ad copy, press releases, social copy, etc. - SEO/SEM/SMO: Support online channels with research and implementation of findings for optimization of copy and landing pages. Monitor and report on social, digital, and content metrics. - Keyword Research: Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization. - Social Media Management: Responsible for Polydeck corporate social media channels. This includes strategy, posting cadence, content creation, copywriting, and scheduling. - Website Support: Ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented, and pages are regularly updated to reflect most recent products, articles, and company information. - Reporting and Analytics: Support the marketing team in compiling reporting on SEO and social efforts and effectiveness. - Miscellaneous Project Support: Support the marketing team efforts on referral, giveaway, advertising, presentations, sales sheets and other tools and campaigns as needed.
Necessary Abilities/Skills/Certifications:

• Strong understanding and experience in various marketing copywriting executions (PR, ads, SEO, etc.).
• Strong understanding of content practices such as SEO, SEM, and SMO.
• Strong knowledge of social media tactics, trends, planning and execution.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and provide action-oriented insights.
• Confident, self-starter, can-do attitude, and passion for solving problems.
• Enthusiastic individual who portrays excitement for continued learning and working with others. Minimum Education and Work Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's in marketing, advertising, or communications preferred
  • 3+ years in a marketing, advertising, or communications role
  • Proven experience in delivering a copywriting tone and voice that connects and converts with your target audience in a manner consistent with a brand's voice.
  • Familiarity with WordPress a plus
  • Experience in mining industry a plus Working Conditions:
