Job Description Job Description Position : Test Specialist (Instrumentation Technician) Location : Greenville, SC 29615 Hours : Standard 40hr week M-F, 7am-4pm (Lots of OT during testing) Openings : 4 Contract : 18m contract Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Test Specialist to work for an energy company in Greenville, SC. They will be responsible for computer networking and programming of testing equipment within a lab environment. They will need to be able to read electrical schematics and perform preventative maintenance on electronic and mechanical systems, so hands-on experience is preferred. Candidate will be configuring, operating, and maintaining instrumentation and data acquisition systems, so strong knowledge of data analytics is preferred as well. They will be responsible for support set up and facility troubleshooting as required. The candidate will need to be comfortable with domestic travel up to 25-40% of the time (up to 3-4 weeks at a time). Required Skills & Experience HS Diploma or Associate’s degree or higher in IT/Computer Networking related field (or relevant experience) Knowledgeable with hand tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, fluke meters, strain gauges, etc) Experience in execution of industrial equipment tests. Experience with documenting test results. Basic computer skills (MS Office & understand how to troubleshoot network issues) Ability to travel 25-45% of the time, domestically & internationally. Nice to Have Skills & Experience Military background (working with industrial equipment) Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Experience with data acquisition systems
