Job Description You will be the F-35 Aircraft Mechanic
(Ship?rider), Level 4 for the Grottaglie Maintenance Team which is
responsible for nose?to?tail maintenance of F?35 aircraft
supporting the Italian customer. This position is located in
Grottaglie, Italy. What You Will Be Doing As the F?35 Aircraft
Mechanic (Ship?rider), Level 4 you will be responsible for
delivering expert maintenance and training across the full aircraft
lifecycle while operating within a multinational environment. Your
responsibilities will include: - Perform “over?the?shoulder”
on?the?job training and Touch Labor maintenance within the organic
Italian maintenance organization. - Utilize Joint Technical Data
(JTD) and the CMMS to document actions, process requests, and
ensure compliance with directives. - Travel for temporary duty
assignments, including ship deployments, to support the customer
and maintain aircraft availability. - Support any shift schedule,
including weekends, to meet mission demands and sustain operational
readiness. - Assist the Aeronautics Field Sustainment training team
and contribute to the broader Interim Contractor Support (ICS)

About This Opportunity MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is
located at a facility that requires special access. The selected
candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Candidate must posses a US passport. Physical Requirements: This
position may include certain military required health screenings
and immunizations. Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and
perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp,
handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is
frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and
twist. Basic Qualifications • Must have 2-years of hands-on F-35
maintenance experience to include working experience and knowledge
of Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) to include,
Anomaly Fault Resolution System, Customer Relationship Management,
Joint Technical Data Navigation, Portable Maintenance Aid
(PMA)/Maintenance Vehicle Interface (MVI) activities, Configuration
Management and forms documentation and supply chain management
activities. • An associate’s degree or FAA A&P License with 4
years related experience; or will accept high school diploma with 8
years specialized working experience as 5 or 7-skill level USAF
AFSC, CDI/CDQAR Navy NEC, or CDI/CDQAR United States Marine Corps,
or equivalent on Fighter Attack Aircraft. • Knowledge of Safety,
Tool Control, Foreign Object damage (FOD), Supply, Hazardous
maintenance activities and supervise other maintenance activities
on aircraft. Develop work schedules and assign tasks to other
maintenance team members. • Working experience and knowledge of
activities such as aircraft forms documentation and supply chain
management activities. Provide On-The Job Training (OJT) as
required to newly hired ICS team members and International country
organic maintainers as required. Ensures good housekeeping and
safety practices are enforced. Desired skills • An FAA aircraft and
Power Plant Mechanic license is desirable. • Proficiency with LM’s
F-35 Nose-to-Tail maintenance concept. • Experience in Crew
Chief/Plane Captain duties • Low Observable/Structures Maintenance
Experience. • Avionics Systems Maintenance Experience. •
Weapons/Egress Systems Maintenance Experience. • Ability to
speak/read Italian • Experience interfacing with NATO customers •

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
