Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

The primary role of our medical staff is to anticipate the provider and patients' needs in an effort to streamline the visit. We strive to provide the absolute best care during every interaction with the patient. Every patient should feel like they are our ONLY patient.

Other job responsibilities include:

-- Answer the phone and route to the appropriate pool

-- Call, fax, or e-prescribe prescriptions to the pharmacy

-- Pre-authorize prescriptions

-- Schedule appointments for patients

-- Follow the proper procedures, policies, and standards

-- Provide safe, knowledgeable, and consistent care to patients

-- Recognize and report potential safety issues

-- Maintain confidentiality and to be a liaison for the patient

-- Perform all duties that are within your scope of practice

-- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

We are looking for a kind, reliable, and dedicated team member. You will need intuition and the ability to forecast the needs of the office.

Additional job requirements include:

-- High school diploma or GED

-- 1-3 years in a clinical setting (physician's office or hospital setting)

-- LPN license or CMA/RMA certification from AMT or AAMA required

-- Electronic Health Record experience is a plus
