Overview Medical Cardiology Stepdown - Post-Procedural - 3 Heart at HCA Mission Hospital--Registered Nurse - Part-Time - Nights--MCSD 3 Heart is a 15-bed Cardiology unit specializing in the care of post-procedural patients who have had procedures in the Cath Lab or EP Lab. Nurses working on this unit pull sheaths, recover patients with TR Bands, administer a variety of drips for rhythm disturbances, and care for post-device placement patients.--We are committed to providing our employees with the support they need. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.--Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Effective 3/1/18 Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program within 6 months AND obtain a BSN within 4 years of hire date into RN position. Previous signed BSN commitment letter OR grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Mission Health entities.
