This team cares for patients with case types such as:# Hematology Oncology (Leukemia/Lymphoma),# Palliative Care, Wound Care, and General Medical Surgical # The nurses on this team often#work with a multitude of medical devices including (but not limited to)#Drains, NG Tubes, Ostomy Care, Central Lines (Ports/Pics).# The leadership for this team includes the Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse and ADT nurse. The Nurse Manager#has an awesome clinical background and has been a RN for 13+ years.# She began as a RN in Rehab, spent time in Cardiac, grew into Assistant Nurse Manager, and was promoted into the role of Nurse Manager in Oncology 5+ years ago.# She brings a true depth of experience since she has worked in many of her roles within the Spartanburg Regional System. #Not only is she a fabulous and encouraging leader, but also a great teacher with a wealth of clinical knowledge.##This team loves new grads and is very supportive of team members utilizing Medical Surgical/Oncology/Palliative Care to build a strong foundation and springboard into a specialty when the time is right (or to be like other nurses on our team and#enjoy your#career#within our awesome unit).# Our high acuity cases enables this unit to grow#SRHS Strong RNs while striving to provide excellent, safe patient care!## #The Registered Nurse recognizes, and addresses patient needs or issues to achieve the highest level of patient satisfaction, quality, and outcomes. The Registered Nurse provides, directs, and coordinates professional nursing care for all patients following established clinical nursing standards and practices.# The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, nursing judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient.# The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.# Participates in interdepartmental collaboration#with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery to achieve the highest level of desired patient outcomes.
