LPN or RN Days at Southern Health Partners summary:
This role is a part-time and PRN nursing position focused on providing patient care in a correctional facility. The position offers flexible scheduling with options for weekend shifts, teamwork, and a variety of benefits including daily pay, 401K eligibility, and continuing education opportunities. Nurses will be responsible for administering medications, evaluating patient conditions, and following established treatment plans under state guidelines.

Location: -Polk County Detention Center

Open Position: - -PT LPN or RN

Schedule: -Every Other -Saturday & Sunday 10 hr Day shifts


***Could be every weekend for right candidate

Duties include, but are not limited to: -

• 
  
• Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, chart results, establish nursing plans and work under the boundaries of State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, and Physician/Provider(s) -
  
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards & correctional regulations
  
• Follow through with established treatment plans
  
• Perform emergency intervention, physical assessment and critical thinking
