Hiring Department The Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Department of Psychiatry in the School of Medicine Job Description The Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment and the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri-Columbia are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our growing team. Position Highlights: --- Serving children with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions
--- Multi-disciplinary setting with 7 physicians, 3 APPs, 6 Psychologists and 9 Therapists
--- Fully integrated with MU's academic training and research missions About the Thompson Center The Thompson Center for Autism & Neurodevelopment is a nationally recognized, interdisciplinary center with experts across 15+ clinical subspecialties including pediatrics, psychiatry, psychology, neurology, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, applied behavioral analysis, genetics, and social work. We're currently undergoing an exciting expansion including: --- Brand-new 74,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility
--- Features an adaptive playground, therapy gym, training caf-- and group therapy rooms
--- 1st Intensive Outpatient program in the state
--- Ability to double our volumes over the next few years to 30,000 visits
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Board certified/board eligible child and adolescent psychiatrist
