Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel VMS ID: 979 HIGHLIGHTS: - Shift: 12hr Night Shift - 36 - Shift Information: Thurs, Fri, Sat 1900-0700 - 2 years' experience required in same level CTICU - First-time travelers not accepted - Required BLS, ACLS - RN licensure required, certification preferred - Must have high level cardiac surgery with devices experience - Weekend rotation: every other - No call required - Floating to Adult Critical care units - Travelers will work 75% of holidays - RTO: Resource Team approval ADDITIONAL DETAILS: - Patient Ratios: 1:2 - Orientation includes: - NEO - 3 days departmental MORE INFORMATION: - Facility Details: - 900 licensed beds - Level 1 Trauma - Teaching Hospital - Chest Pain Center - Stroke Center - Unit Information: - 14 beds - Average census: 11 patients/day - Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Cardiac Surgery, ECMO, OHT, LVAD/RVAD, Impella (R and L) - Support Staff: - 1 CNA - 1 Receptionist/HUC on week days - Charge nurse (free floating) - PRN Phlebotomy - IV/VAT Team - Some Resource Nurses - RT 24/7 - Hospitalist 24/7 - Intensivist 24/7 - No Telemetry monitoring/tech - Technology/Equipment: - EMR: Epic - IV Pump: Alaris - Med dispensing: Omnicell - Monitors: Philips and Edwards - Unit specific equipment: ECMO, IABP, RVAD, LVAD, R and L Impella, vents - Other Details: - Scrub Color: Navy blue - Parking: Free - Unit Culture: Team work, proactive care About Premier Medical Staffing Services Premier Medical Staffing Services, LLC is a nationally expanding healthcare staffing firm for healthcare professionals and companies.
