Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Matthews, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,161 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Matthews, North Carolina, 28104! RN - Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery/Postpartum experience License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP Must-Have: - Experience with all aspects of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum patient care - Experience in circulating cesarean sections - Experience with newborn care, including heel sticks, 24-hour testing, NAS scoring, and lactation support - Decontamination and sterilization experience - Comfortable providing assistance with vaginal and cesarean delivery Description: The organization is seeking an experienced RN for the Labor & Delivery/Postpartum specialty. The unit has an average census of 8 patients. The organization is a teaching hospital with 44 licensed beds. This role requires working with both labor and delivery patients as well as postpartum care. The RN will adhere to patient ratios as per AWHONN guidelines. Support is provided within the department, including a CNA per shift and a charge nurse. OB physicians and pediatricians will be available 24/7. Traveling within the region may be required, adhering to scope of practice. Weekend rotation will be every other weekend. Travelers are expected to work 75% of the holidays. Requests for Time Off (RTO) can be approved up to 6 days, excluding holidays. The schedule cycle operates every 6 weeks. Scrub color will be navy blue or business casual to and from work, with hospital-issued scrubs during work hours.
