Job Description:
Hospital Medicine is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified
Hospitalist with specialized training in Internal Medicine to join
our growing team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Wilkes
Medical Center in North Wilkesboro, NC. Wilkes medical Center is
licensed for 130 beds including a 10-bed skilled nursing facility
on the main campus. Work in a Supportive & Collaborative
Environment: Join a professional, collegial team in a community
hospital setting with access to academic resources. Wilkes Medical
Center features an open ICU supported by Tele-ICU (aICU) and
Sonosite ultrasound in the Emergency Department. Average daily
census for the team 50-60 with a day staffing model of 3 physicians
and 3 APPs. Assistance with procedures and intubations available.
