skilled in step-down care to support patient treatment and recovery
in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role emphasizes critical
thinking and compassionate care for patients transitioning from
intensive care to general medical units. Responsibilities: Monitor
and assess patients recovering in the step-down unit, ensuring
stability and appropriate interventions. Administer medications and
treatments as prescribed, with attention to patient safety.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update
individualized care plans. Educate patients and families about care
needs and discharge planning. Document patient information
accurately and comply with hospital protocols. Desired Experience
and Qualifications: Current RN licensure with experience in
step-down or intermediate care nursing. Strong clinical assessment
and critical thinking abilities. Effective communication skills for
interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability
to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to
