Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time occupational therapist position is available for the upcoming contract school year, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This district-wide role supports an elementary school in Laurens, SC, offering the opportunity to work collaboratively with educators and families to enhance student outcomes. Responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess students' occupational therapy needs Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living activities Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom setting Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions to meet diverse student needs Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations Desired qualifications and experience: Licensed and certified Occupational Therapist (OT) Experience providing school-based occupational therapy services, particularly within elementary and K-12 populations Knowledge of educational interventions and familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage caseloads across multiple grade levels with flexibility and organization This contract position offers a dynamic setting to positively impact students educational experience through therapeutic support tailored to their developmental goals.
