Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,151 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: CPR, Advanced Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: Labor & Delivery experience (2 years) High-risk experience Description: Client is a flagship facility recognized for excellence in clinical quality. It is a licensed facility with 815 beds. The facility has received multiple awards for patient safety and nursing excellence. The region’s referral center includes a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. It offers a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. The children’s hospital caters to pediatric emergencies and specialties. The facility hosts a busy robotic surgery program and offers advanced cardiology services. Candidates should be adaptable, outgoing, and friendly. Patient ratios on the unit are typically 1:1 or 1:2. The unit is equipped with advanced technology, including electronic fetal monitoring. Typical procedures include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other related care. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered. It is important to have immediate newborn care experience. Floating to other specialized areas may be required upon approval.
