Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,913 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28203! Job Title: RN - Neonatal ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of strong Level 3 and/or Level 4 NICU experience. Must be comfortable in a high acuity, fast-paced environment. License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: - EPIC experience - Management of critical care vasoactive drip titration - Management of invasive lines - Aseptic and sterile techniques - Ventilator and trach management - Management of feeding tubes, chest tubes, and intravenous systems - Ability to perform bedside procedures Description: The role involves providing care in a high-acuity neonatal intensive care setting. You will manage infants with various respiratory, cardiac, neurological, and gastrointestinal conditions. Patient ratios may vary based on acuity, typically ranging from 1:1 to 1:3. Critical conditions may include Respiratory Distress Syndrome, congenital heart defects, seizures, and others. Support is available through a team that includes charge nurses, intensive care specialists, and clinical educators. You may be required to float to similar units based on staffing needs. Weekend rotation is mandatory, with specific scheduling requirements. Travelers are expected to work holidays as scheduled. Manager approval is necessary for requests for time off; significant amounts of requests may hinder contract extensions.
