Systems, Inc. to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Huntersville,
North Carolina, 28078! Job Title: Registered Nurse - ER Location
(Onsite, Remote, or Hybrid?): Huntersville, NC (ONSITE) Contract
Duration: 13 weeks Working Hours: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
Total Weekly Hours: 36 hrs REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum
Years of Experience: 2-3 YEARS ED EXPERIENCE Traveler Experience:
Accepts 1st time travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: IV Start, Triage, Telemetry, Conscious Sedation,
Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias,
Procedural Sedation Administration Certs: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS,
and MOAB (facility will offer MOAB class) PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS
/ EXP: Skills: critical care patients, trauma, triage, and boarding
inpatients Certs: ENPC and TNCC JOB DETAILS: Target Ratios: 1:4 -
assignments flex up and down based on acuity 36 Hours ONLY can be
offered. Unit Will Accept 13 Weeks! Shift: 12 Hour NIGHTS; 18:45 -
07:15 RTO: 7 days MAX for Aya Auto Offer Float Requirement: NONE.
Weekend Requirement: This is every other weekend Sat/Sun. PATIENT
DIAGNOSES: Community hospital setting in Northern Mecklenburg
County. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Stroke certified- we
give t-Pa, TNK, and transfer to PMC. Chest pain certified- only
walk-in STEMI. Transfer to PMC cath lab for intervention. No trauma
services, transfer to PMC. No dialysis services, transfer. We do
not admit pediatrics, transfer. We care for the entire age
spectrum. We have nurses and CNA's, MUR adn Paramedics. We have ED
MD's and MLP's. Dedicated charge nurse 24/7. Can be overcapacity in
house, thus ED MSU boarding occurs. Our cath lab performs
intervention onsite paramedics in our department SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:
Alaris IV pumps Scanning for medications and lab specimens UNIT
SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC SCHEDULING TYPE: Per Unit Needs UNIT
ORIENTATION: 2- 12 hour shifts of orientation on the unit; Hospital
Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each
