Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,796 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801! Job Title: Labor and Delivery RN Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: - NRP - BLS/ALS - Advanced Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: - Labor and delivery experience of 2 years - High-risk experience - Immediate newborn care Description: This position is for a Labor and Delivery RN in a unit with 16 beds. The staff consists of around 120 members including day and night shift charges. Patient ratios are typically 1:1 or 1:2. Equipment includes Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring systems. The electronic medical record used is Cerner and Fetal ink. Candidates should be outgoing, friendly, and adaptable. Preferred candidates will have circulating experience. Typical procedures performed include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst.
