a qualified Oncology RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28204! Job

Phlebotomy skills required Description: The position involves
working in a classical hematology clinic. The focus will be on
bleeding disorders, hemophilia, anemias, sickle cell, and DVTs.
This clinic does not involve malignant hematology or oncology.
Registered Nurses will be required to bring their own stethoscope.
Phlebotomy skills are essential. Responsibilities include nursing
patient assessments and conduct phone triage. RNs will assist with
bone marrow biopsies and provide patient education. Patient case
management will also be part of the role. RNs may work with both
malignant and non-malignant hematology teams. Chemotherapy and
infusions will not be administered in this setting. The clinic has
an average daily census of approximately 70 patients. Manual
differentials will be done by lab personnel, not RNs. The clinic
operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There are
no call or float requirements. Weekend work is not required.
Candidates must be prepared for interdisciplinary support. EPIC
access is necessary for position responsibilities. Candidates must
be comfortable floating based on the role’s requirements. 5
