Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Jefferson, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,650 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Jefferson, North Carolina, 28640! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery License: NC or Compact license required at the time of start Certifications: ACLS NRP AWHONN BCLS Must-Have: Fetal Heart Monitoring experience Traveler experience accepted Description: The role involves caring for both mother and baby in a LDRP Unit. The unit caters to both high-risk and stable patients. Candidates must have strong experience due to the autonomy required in a smaller department. Patient ratios will be 1:1 to 1:2. There may be a requirement to float to other units, including MedSurg, depending on departmental needs. Weekend shifts will be determined by department requirements. The unit experienced approximately 100 births last year, indicating lower overall patient volume. Knowledge of Centricity and Meditech Magic for medication, documentation, and communication is essential. Candidates must be comfortable working with different patient demographics. They should also demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and be open to floating as needed. All candidates must comply with facility requirements and guidelines. References from previous supervisors within the last 12 months are preferred.
