Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,976 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN license Certifications: None required, CCRN recommended Must-Have: Titration of vesicant medications Familiarity with pressors, sedation, and paralytics Experience with vents, trachs, and telemetry interpretation Understanding of hemodynamics and PA catheter setup and interpretation Description: We are committed to providing high-quality patient care. The ICU is equipped with advanced technology and a team of skilled professionals. Patient ratios typically range from 2:1 to 1:1, occasionally 3:1 based on acuity. The unit is staffed exclusively with registered nurses. We utilize a variety of equipment, including ventilators and telemetry systems. Our documentation system is user-friendly for efficient record-keeping. Candidates should be comfortable with floating to different areas as necessary. Experience in an ICU setting is a prerequisite for applicants. Advanced skills such as IABP, Impella, and CRRT are appreciated but not required. Procedures performed in this unit include cardioversion and central line insertion. Candidates are expected to adhere to a strict dress code for professional appearance.
