hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a night shift,
weekend-focused contract position requiring 2 years of experience
and ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification. /n /n Responsibilities/n -
Work in a hospital-based environment serving inpatient,
observation, outpatient, and emergency department patients -
Performs general, vascular, OBGYN, small parts, and ultrasound
guided invasive procedures - Average of 48 ultrasound studies per
day, with increased volume during weekdays - No trauma designation
at the facility - Equipment includes Siemens Sequoias, Parks
FlowLab, and Trophon - Uses Epic EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips
iSite PACS - 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday from 6:30
p.m. to 7:00 a.m. - Call coverage required every 8th week with 3–7
consecutive call shifts, primarily weekends - Responsibilities
include imaging for inpatient, observation, outpatient, and
emergency patients, as well as providing ultrasound services at the
on-campus rehab facility - Daily support includes guest
services/transport for patient movement and on-site radiologist
coverage seven days per week - Onboarding includes one day
administrative orientation followed by two to ten days departmental
training as needed - Black scrubs are required - Free employee
parking available in surface lots and decks - Must be willing to
work 75% of holidays - No floating required /n /n Requirements/n -
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist -
Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical
Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (S) required - Current BLS certification required -
Proficient in performing invasive procedures such as paracentesis
and thoracentesis - Ability to perform general, limited OB, and a
wide range of vascular studies as listed - Experience with Epic EMR
preferred - First-time travelers will be considered - License
