The facility is accredited and offers various services including cancer care, cardiac care, and surgical services. The unit consists of 24 beds, and the patient ratio is 4:1. Common patient diagnoses include chest pain, atrial fibrillation, and congestive heart failure. The position involves pre and post-care for cardiac catheterizations. The nursing staff may occasionally be required to float to other units. The atmosphere is family-oriented. Candidates must possess skills with Life Paks, Zoll monitors, and Masimo equipment. The patient population ranges from young adults to elderly adults. The dress code permits any color scrubs. This position is a replacement for a contractor.
