equipment throughout the facility is seeking locums. The hospital
provides comprehensive acute-care services including a 24/7
emergency department, intensive care unit, women's services, and
six multispecialty operating rooms. The facility maintains a
patient-focused care environment designed to support efficient
clinical practice. About the Facility Location South Carolina
offers diverse attractions including popular coastal destinations
such as the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and SkyWheel, along with inland
entertainment options like Carowinds Theme Park and Broadway at the
Beach. The state features educational institutions including the
College of Charleston and hosts regional events such as the South
Carolina Festival of Flowers. Residents and visitors can enjoy
year-round activities ranging from beachfront recreation to
cultural attractions throughout the state. About the Clinician's
Workday The anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia
services with primary focus on obstetric cases including epidurals
and cesarean sections. The position requires in-house call coverage
with shifts ranging from nights (4-5 PM to 6 AM) to full weekend
24-hour call periods (7 AM to 7 AM). The clinician must demonstrate
strong competency in obstetric anesthesia as this represents the
majority of cases, with occasional non-obstetric procedures
requiring light supervision. Board certification is not required,
however prescriptive authority is mandatory for this locum tenens
