people heal. Roles & Responsibilities Provide expert, compassionate
labor and delivery care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum
patients Monitor maternal and fetal status using advanced fetal
monitoring and act promptly on changes Assist and support vaginal
deliveries and cesarean sections in collaboration with the care
team Perform immediate newborn care according to NRP guidelines and
stabilize as needed Document patient care accurately and
efficiently in Cerner Collaborate with anesthesia, OB providers,
neonatal teams, and surgical staff to ensure safe outcomes Maintain
a patient-centered approach while managing 1:1 and 1:2 patient
ratios Qualifications Current RN license (NC or compact licensing
accepted where applicable) Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery
experience (explicit requirement) High-risk obstetrics experience
required Required certifications: NRP, BLS/ALS, Advanced Fetal
Monitoring Comfortable with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections,
and immediate newborn care Experience with Cerner and familiarity
with Philips electronic fetal monitoring, Baxter pumps, and fetal
ink preferred Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a
team-first attitude Knowledge & Skills Advanced Fetal Monitoring
interpretation and management Neonatal resuscitation and immediate
newborn care (NRP) Electronic medical record documentation in
Cerner Experience with Philips electronic fetal monitoring and
Baxter infusion pumps Circulating experience in the OR for cesarean
deliveries is a plus Ability to manage 1:1 and 1:2 patient ratios
and prioritize in high-acuity situations Critical thinking,
situational awareness, and calm decision-making under pressure
