Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Experience in general OR settings Experience with colonoscopy, EGD, and laparoscopic-assisted procedures Experience with various surgical procedures Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the operating room setting. The role requires expertise in general OR procedures and specific surgical techniques. Responsibilities include safe patient handling and maintaining infection control standards. Experience with laparoscopic-assisted surgeries and various gynecological procedures is essential. The nurse will work with advanced surgical equipment and assist in various surgical interventions. Active monitoring of patient conditions before, during, and after surgeries is required. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team is a key part of this role. The nurse must comply with universal protocol (time out) procedures. Experience in patient education and advocacy is important.
