Registered Nurse (RN) | Endoscopy Location: Hickory, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,794 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN degree Certifications: None required Must-Have: Experience in the tech position, not just circulating if RN applicant Description: Pulmonology experience is required. Orientation occurs twice monthly. The facility has 355 beds. It is home to various specialized centers, including brain, cancer, heart, lung, orthopedics, general and vascular surgery, and surgical weight loss. It features a women's center and a Level 3 NICU. The emergency department has 32 beds. There is a 29-bed inpatient rehab unit and a 15-bed surgical suite with imaging services. The campus comprises an 81-bed adult behavioral health hospital. Daily cases will be allowed to conclude before leaving the shift. The endoscopy unit has 3 beds, including 2 endoscopy rooms and 1 bronchoscopy room. Patient ratios are 1:1. Common equipment includes the Olympus system. The electronic health record system used is Cerner. The supervisor is responsible for managing daily activities. The patient population primarily includes adults. Call coverage requirements consist of approximately 10 days monthly with a 30-minute response time. Common diagnoses and treatments primarily consist of routine procedures, with call cases involving GI bleeds, foreign body removals, and bronchoscopy with EBUS and navigation techniques. Candidate personality fit is not specified, but strong communication and teamwork skills are expected. Dress code includes navy blue scrubs, with scrub machines available on-site.
