Job Description Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery Specialty: Labor and Delivery (LDRP) Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a Family Birthplace unit. This is a Baby-Friendly facility where nurses are cross-trained across multiple OB-related roles. The ideal candidate must be comfortable managing high-acuity obstetric patients and newborn care responsibilities. Unit Overview: LDRP model with nursery responsibilities Nurses cross-trained in: Labor & Delivery Circulator role (C-Section) Acute Care Nursery OB Triage Care for GYN surgery patients RNs perform newborn hearing screenings Medication system: Omnicell Staffing Ratios: 1:1 with active labor patients 1:2 with Cytotec inductions 1:1 with Magnesium patients 1:3 with Couplet (Mother/Baby) care 1:1 if newborn admitted to sick nursery Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience First-time travelers may be considered based on total experience Minimum 1 year of EPIC charting experience required Required Certifications & Licensure: Active RN State License BLS ACLS NRP AWHONN Intermediate For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
