Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,012 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Oncology RN Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS Must-Have: License (RN) BLS Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an oncology unit. The position involves providing care to patients with cancer and related conditions. The unit has a total of 24 beds and operates with a staff of approximately 42. We provide comprehensive support and resources for our nursing staff. Patient ratios are typically 1:4 or 1:5, ensuring adequate attention to each patient. The team will engage with standard unit equipment and electronic medical records. Candidates must be team players and willing to learn in a dynamic environment. Previous experience in chemotherapy administration is preferred but not required. This role requires a commitment to patient safety and high-quality care. Essential duties include monitoring patient conditions and administering medications. Staff may also perform occasional pelvic exams and maintain various patient care protocols. All staff members are required to work six weekends during their schedule. Dress code for RNs includes navy, white, or a combination of both colors.
