Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,444 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Emergency Department Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Dept Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: - ACLS before start date - BLS before start date - PALS before start date - TNCC before start date - CPI before start date - NIHSS before start date - ENPC within 90 days of hire Must-Have: - Level 1 Emergency Department Charge Nurse experience - 2 years experience in a Level 2 trauma center - Comprehensive stroke center experience - High volume emergency department experience Description: The role is focused on providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department. This position requires strong teamwork and collaboration skills. The nurse will have the ability to coach and provide real-time feedback. Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department is essential. Patient ratios are typically 4:1, with up to 7:1 for behavioral holds. The unit has a total of 101 beds. Available techs assist with cardiac monitoring and internal processing. Knowledge of documentation systems is important for this role. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to patient experience protocols. The department values respectful behavior and open communication.
