In this pivotal role, you will utilize high-frequency sound waves to capture images and sonograms for obstetric evaluations, contributing vital insights for patient care management. Perform ultrasound examinations using sonographic equipment to produce and record images according to physician's directives. Analyze sonograms, compile sonographic information, communicate findings to appropriate physician. Maintain patient records and add medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure. Ensure compliance with departmental and healthcare regulations concerning safety and infection control. Assist in the maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment. Provide a comfortable and secure environment for patients during sonographic examinations. Proficiency in operating ultrasound imaging equipment Ability to interpret sonograms efficiently Strong organizational and communication skills Capability to handle patient information with confidentiality Experience with electronic medical health care record systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - OB/GYN specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
