qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for experienced NICU Registered Nurses to provide specialized care
in a Level III and/or Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
setting. This contract role is based in Morganton, North Carolina,
offering a consistent night shift schedule with the option to flex
to additional shifts as needed. Location Morganton, NC, is a

environment for work and life. Responsibilities - Deliver
comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates in the NICU,
adhering to established clinical guidelines. - Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
individualized patient care. - Monitor and manage life-support
equipment and medical devices routinely used in a Level III/IV
NICU. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the
electronic medical records system, preferably Meditech. -
Participate in unit-based education, compliance, and quality
assurance activities. - Ensure adherence to required certifications
and licensing standards at all times. Qualifications - Registered
Nurse licensure in North Carolina (State or Compact License) is
mandatory. - Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal
Resuscitation Program) certifications required. - Minimum of 2
years of NICU nursing experience, preferably in Level III or IV
care settings. - Experience with Meditech electronic medical
records preferred. - Reliable attendance with a willingness to work
a 3x12-hour night shift schedule (19:0007:00), with minimum every
other weekend coverage (Friday-Sunday). - Ability to provide all
necessary documentation as requested, including current NURSYS
report and Qualivis Cover Sheet. Schedule - Night shift: 3
consecutive 12-hour shifts per week, with the option to work a 4th
shift if available. - Overtime eligible after 48 hours. - Blocked
schedule requests will be considered. This contract position offers
