We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CVICU Registered Nurse (Travel RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at a state-of-the-art facility. Belmont offers a charming small-town atmosphere with easy access to Charlotte, scenic parks, and a welcoming community—an excellent location for travel nursing and North Carolina critical care jobs. /n/nJob Details/n /n - Position: CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Travel RN/n - Location: Belmont, NC 28012 (near Charlotte, Mecklenburg County)/n - Setting: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) – cardiac surgery and advanced cardiac care/n - Assignment Type: Travel/n - Start Date: March 23, 2026/n - End Date: June 21, 2026/n - Duration: 13 weeks/n - Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,910 - $2,010 per week/n /n/nQualifications / Job Requirements/n /n - Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license. North Carolina licensure or compact license preferred for travel nurses./n - Minimum 1 year of recent CVICU or critical care nursing experience required/n - Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)/n - Strong clinical assessment, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical thinking skills/n - Excellent communication, teamwork, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills/n - Experience with post-op cardiac patients, ventilator support, and advanced cardiac monitoring is a plus/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Deliver high-quality cardiovascular critical care nursing to adult patients in the CVICU/n - Continuously monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment using advanced cardiac monitoring/n - Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans/n - Administer medications, titrate vasoactive drips, manage IVs, and operate advanced life support and monitoring equipment/n - Respond to emergencies and participate in code and rapid response situations as needed/n - Provide patient and family education related to procedures, post-operative care, and ongoing cardiovascular care/n - Maintain a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff/n /n/n Why join us: Grow your critical care nursing career as a Travel RN in a top-tier CVICU near Charlotte.
