ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Complete 4-hour hospital orientation followed by 8-hour shift on the floor • Follow facility dress code requirements: RNs must wear all navy, all white, or combination of navy and white scrubs • Use Kronos timekeeping system with specific clock-in codes (dial 533 from designated phone) • Clock in with code 1 and clock out with code 9 for regular shifts • Clock in with code 62 for callback shifts (2nd, 3rd, etc. return) • Clock in with code 64 for other productive time (orientation, meetings, education) • Clock in with code 66 for charge shifts • Clock out with code 3 for lunch and back in with code 4 • Adhere to tobacco-free campus policy - no tobacco use in buildings, entrances, properties, or personal vehicles in parking areas • Mileage reimbursement available: $30 for 30 miles, $40 for 50 miles, $80 for 100 miles • Work in Progressive Care Unit providing intermediate level care for patients requiring closer monitoring than medical-surgical units Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services with a focus on progressive care units that bridge the gap between intensive care and general medical-surgical units.
