Join a collaborative Renal/Oncology Medical-Surgical team and provide high-quality cancer care in Anderson, South Carolina./n /n/nJob Details/n /n - Location: Anderson, SC 29621 (Anderson, South Carolina – travel nursing job)/n - Unit: 4 Center, Renal/Oncology Med Surg (Renal/Oncology Medical-Surgical / Telemetry)/n - Assignment Type: Travel Nurse (Travel Assignment)/n - Start Date: April 6, 2026/n - End Date: July 6, 2026/n - Duration: 13 weeks/n - Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (18:45 - 07:15)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/n - Floating: Required within scope to other Med Surg and Telemetry units/n - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1750-$1840/week/n /n/nJob Requirements/n /n - Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (2 years preferred) — oncology RN and medical-surgical experience preferred/n - Active Registered Nurse license (will consider candidates with pending license)/n - BLS certification required/n - Experience with renal failure, medical-surgical, telemetry, and oncology patients preferred/n - Chemotherapy/infusion experience or oncology certification (preferred) — infusion/oncology skills are a plus/n - Ability to float to other Med Surg and Telemetry units as needed/n - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Renal/Oncology Med Surg unit, including cancer care and symptom management/n - Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment using accurate clinical documentation/n - Administer medications, treatments, and oncology therapies (including infusions/chemotherapy when applicable) as prescribed and per facility policies/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV/infusion teams, physical therapy (PT), respiratory therapy (RT), pharmacy, and social services/n - Float to other Med Surg and Telemetry units as needed to meet facility staffing and patient care needs/n - Maintain accurate patient records, participate in care planning, and support safe handoffs/n - Provide compassionate support, patient education, and family-centered care for patients and caregivers/n /n/n /n Experience the warmth and scenic beauty of Anderson, SC while advancing your oncology nursing career.
