(Travel Nurse) – Night Shift in Anderson, SC (29621). 13-week
travel nursing contract with estimated pay $1750–$1840/week
providing post-surgical medical-surgical and telemetry care for
adult and geriatric patients. Job Details - Estimated Weekly Pay:
$1750 - $1840 - Location: Anderson, SC 29621 (Upstate South
Carolina) - Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nursing Job -
Unit: 6 South, Post-Surgical Med/Surg (float to 5 Med/Surg & 4
Telemetry units as needed) - Shift: Night Shift RN – 3 x 12-hour
shifts per week (18:45 - 07:15) - Hours per Week: 36 - Contract
Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026) - Patient Ratio:
1:6 - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend - Orientation: 16
hours - Charting System: Epic (Epic EMR experience preferred) Job
Requirements - Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience
required; 2 years preferred (medical-surgical and post-surgical
care) - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Compact license or
state license accepted (pending license acceptable but must be
obtained prior to start) - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
required - Experience with Epic EMR preferred - Ability to float to
Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed - COVID-19 and seasonal flu
vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions allowed) - All
requested time off must be submitted with application
Responsibilities - Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care
to adult and geriatric patients in a post-surgical Med/Surg setting
- Manage patient assignments with a typical ratio of 1:6 as a
Med/Surg Registered Nurse - Float to Med/Surg and Telemetry units;
adapt quickly to varying clinical environments - Perform Med/Surg
clinical skills including IV therapy, wound care, blood product
administration, central and peripheral line care, tracheostomy
care, and post-thoracic surgery management - Document patient care
accurately in Epic and complete required modules prior to start -
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV team, physical
therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rapid response) - Adhere to
isolation precautions, infection control policies, and PPE
