Job Description:
Join our dedicated team at HCA Healthcare as a Registered Nurse
in our Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit (NSICU). In this pivotal
role, you'll provide critical care to patients with serious
neurological issues, including trauma, strokes, and brain
surgeries. You will utilize your skills in a high-stakes
environment to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in one
of the nation's leading healthcare networks. This position offers
you the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team, using
state-of-the-art technology to improve patient outcomes and support
recovery. Monitor and evaluate patients with severe neurological
injuries and conditions. Administer medications, maintain patient
records, and implement doctors' orders. Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on conditions and expected
recovery processes. Handle advanced medical equipment specific to
neurological care. Participate in continuous professional
development and training. Proficiency in handling patients with
neurological needs. Strong ability to operate and understand
neurosurgical monitoring devices. Excellent communication and
organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a
high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse license. Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) is preferred
but not required. BLS/ACLS certification.
