Job Description:
HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated and skilled Adult Med Surg
Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position
offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused
on providing excellent patient care and ensuring positive patient
outcomes. Our Adult Med Surg Registered Nurses play a critical role
in managing patient care in medical surgical units, dealing with
diverse cases from post-operative recovery to managing chronic
conditions. Provide comprehensive patient care in an adult medical
surgical setting. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing
care for patients in accordance with facility protocols. Administer
medications, monitor vital signs, and help with daily activities
that patients might struggle with while recovering. Record
patients' medical information accurately and maintain
confidentiality. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to
create effective care plans and enhance patient outcomes. Educate
patients and their families on disease processes, treatments, and
healthcare management post-discharge. Proficient in the use of
medical software for charting and documentation Strong
understanding of infection control practices and surgical
procedures Excellent patient assessment skills Effective
communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and
healthcare team members Ability to handle high-stress, fast-paced

state of employment BLS Certification ACLS Certification
