Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and capable Nurse Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee nursing staff and manage the daily operations of our healthcare facilities, including inpatient rehabilitation, home health, and hospice care settings. As a leader in integrated healthcare services, we prioritize high-quality patient care supported by advanced treatments and a skilled staff. The Nurse Supervisor will ensure that all nursing activities are in accordance with regulations and standards, and will lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes and operative efficiency within our services. Supervise and manage the nursing staff, providing guidance and performance feedback. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as with organizational policies in patient care operations. Develop and implement procedures that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Assist in the recruitment, training, and retention of nursing staff. Conduct regular staff meetings to share updates and address concerns. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Monitor patient care for quality assurance and implement necessary changes. Strong leadership and organizational skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities In-depth understanding of healthcare laws and regulations Capability to manage multiple priorities in a high-paced environment Proficiency in healthcare software and patient management systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license CPR/BLS certification Certification in Nursing Administration or Leadership is preferable
