required License: Current ARRT Mammography certification required
Certifications: BLS certification required; must have initial 40
hours of training in Mammography; current in continuing education;
8 hours digital mammography training; 8 hours digital tomosynthesis
training Must-Have: - Screening mammogram experience - Competence
in additional imaging views such as magnification and spot
compression views - Experience in advanced mammography imaging
Description: This position is for a mammography technician at a
large breast center. The facility offers a variety of specialties,
including comprehensive women's services. You will perform routine
mammograms, ensuring patient comfort and quality care. Competence
in invasive and sterile procedures is required. You will work with
advanced imaging techniques, including stereotactic biopsies and
contrast-enhanced mammography. A supportive management team and
opportunities for professional growth are available. The workplace
fosters a friendly atmosphere among staff. The facility is equipped
with GE Senographe Pristina technology and uses Cerner and Penrad
for documentation. A floating policy is in place, requiring staff
to assist at other centers as needed. Experience working in a
women's imaging center is essential, especially with patients who
have a history of cancer treatments. Dress code includes a
specified uniform. This role offers the chance to work with a
