Travel Nurse Across America (TNAA) offers an exciting opportunity for Labor and Delivery Nurses to bring compassionate care and clinical expertise to families across the nation. As a vital member of our travel nursing team, you will provide care and support through the labor and delivery process. This role involves directly working in fast-paced, dynamic environments where compassionate care and medical knowledge significantly impact patient outcomes. At TNAA, we ensure our nurses receive unrivaled support and resources so they can focus on what truly matters - providing exceptional patient care. Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Monitor the mother and baby's vital signs during labor and manage any emergent situations that arise. Administer medications and perform medical interventions as prescribed by attending healthcare providers. Educate and support patients and their families on processes, pain management, and newborn care. Record patient's healthcare data and monitoring progress to ensure consistent care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in high-stress situations Proficient in electronic healthcare record (EHR) systems Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control practices Medical Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license CPR certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
