Job Description:

Seeking a locum Urologist to provide inpatient coverage. This is a hospital-based role focused entirely on adult and geriatric patients, with support from an established urology team and inpatient APC coverage. The position offers a collaborative environment with access to on-site diagnostics and surgical resources.

• Coverage Type: Locum tenens (ongoing need)
• Setting: 100% inpatient
• Schedule: Not specified (flexible based on coverage gaps)
• Must be willing to cover both hospital locations

• Provide inpatient urology care for adult and geriatric patients
• Perform:
  • General urology procedures
  • Ureteroscopy
• Collaborate with:
  • 5 urologists in the group
  • Inpatient APC support (7 days/week)
• Work in a Level III trauma setting
• Utilize on-site:
  • Lab services
  • Imaging (X-ray)
• Travel expenses covered (flight, hotel, rental car, mileage if applicable)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Active South Carolina medical license (or willing to obtain)
• Certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
• DEA required
• Must be comfortable with inpatient urology and procedural work (including ureteroscopy)
• NPDB self-query (within 30 days) required at submission
• Must be willing to cover both hospital sites
