What You ll Do

• Provide hematology and oncology care in an outpatient cancer center setting.
• Manage clinic patients and deliver ongoing treatment plans as part of a complex oncology practice.
• Cover inpatient oncology rounds (in addition to practice call).
• Participate in practice call and inpatient coverage for oncology patients (no weekends).
• Support a practice that is in a rebuilding phase, helping drive continuity and growth.
• Collaborate with on-site supportive services and oncology teams (e.g., infusion, lab, pharmacy support).
• Work within established systems including Epic EMR and access clinical trials through UC-NCORP.

What You Need
Required

• Fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist
• Board status: BE or BC accepted; BC highly preferred
• Ability to meet permanent full-time expectations and local residency requirements (residency in the immediate local area required)

Preferred

• BC certification (highly preferred given practice complexity and majority onsite solo coverage initially)
• Experience/comfort with outpatient-focused oncology practice plus inpatient rounding coverage
• Interest in a leadership-supportive, collegial practice environment

About the Assignment
AnMed is seeking a fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist for their Cancer Center in Anderson, SC, located along South Carolina s National Heritage Corridor. The role supports outpatient clinic care with very limited hospital rounds, includes on-call coverage without weekend shifts, and serves a high-volume oncology practice (approximately 1,200 new cancer cases per year).
