to enjoy in every season The role you'll contribute: Under general
supervision the Mammography Technologist II performs duties
directly involved with mammography (screening and diagnostic
mammography) and a variety of technical procedures applying
ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. This
position is responsible for performing needle localizations,
stereotactic biopsies, and seed implant (if available on site). The
Mammography Technologist II regulates the equipment used to expose
the imaging receptor; processes and organizes images. Additionally,
this position operates equipment safely and maintains As Low as
Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) standards while performing
mammography and other types of radiological procedures. The value
you'll bring to the team: - Produces quality radiographs per the
procedure manual - Performs needle localizations, stereotactic
biopsies, and seed implant (if available on site). - Completes work
in appropriate time frame and ensures accuracy and completeness of
work performed. - Work unsupervised and communicate with OP
Radiology and Surgery staff to update exam status. Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed : - 1 years of
experience - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
(R) Radiology - ARRT (M) Mammography - Basic Life Support (BLS)
