Our Local CDL A Delivery Drivers play a crucial role in the success of our operations and client satisfaction. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle, documenting and reporting any mechanical or safety issues. Drive vehicles to designated destinations within local route frameworks, ensuring timely delivery of freight. Load and unload cargo diligently, using aids like forklifts or trolleys, while adhering to safety practices. Maintain strict adherence to scheduled routes and time schedules to ensure consistent service reliability. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to report on delivery progress and potential delays or issues. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and maintaining professionalism at all times. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. Ability to navigate local roads and be punctual with delivery schedules. Capability to manage physical requirements of the job including handling heavy merchandise. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
