Guest Services Associate - Part Time

Job Summary Dennys is hiring for a part time Guest Services
Associate/Administrative Support hybrid role. This person will work
approximately 25 hours in a typical week but this could increase to
40 hours during certain busy or critical times. In a standard week,
this role will spend approximately hours serving our guests that
call in to our Customer Comment line. Our Guest Services associates
are responsible for receiving, processing and responding to inbound
calls, written letters and emails originated by guests, vendors,
Corporate & Franchise restaurants, media out-lets and other
entities. On behalf of Dennys Corporate, Customer Service
Associates must provide accurate information regarding corporate
processes and procedures. If necessary, routes inquiries/issues to
the appropriate person and or department. Ensures all calls
regarding restaurant experiences are quickly addressed, analyzed
and resolved. As this is a hybrid role, this person will also spend
4-6 hours a week serving in an administrative support capacity for
our Training Department assisting with brand conference planning
and organizing, working directly with hotel or resort contacts on
logistics, etc. Additionally, this person would be responsible for
expense report management, scheduling meetings as needed, and other
administrative tasks. Because this position will interface with our
guests via phone and many internal employees, bilingual skills are
a plus! Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
- 1-3 years of recent experience in a Customer Service support
role (Call Center experience preferred). Computer experience is
required along with an acceptable WPM of at least 30. Required
Knowledge and Skills
- Must have a passion for customer service excellence and have
the desire and drive to serve as the customers advocate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works independently and adjusts to changing priorities and
demands associated with a changing environment.
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to work well
- Must have the ability to listen to internal and external
customers and communicate to all levels of the organization
(Managers, Directors, SVPs, etc).
- Self-motivated and demonstrates positive interpersonal skills.
