This is *not *a remote role; this position is *onsite*.*We are Engineered to Serve.**Tindall Corporation is a leading Precast Concrete Manufacturer, with locations throughout the Southeastern U.S. * *Our mission is to support our customers, create remarkable structures, and deliver never-before-seen solutions every step of the way*.*Our employees enjoy benefits including:**Fully-paid Employee Health plan, Dental, Vision, STD/LTD, Fully-paid Basic Life, Voluntary Life, Whole Life, Accident, Hospitalization, Critical Illness, EAP and a 401k Plan with Company Match & Profit Sharing.**Summary of Primary Functions*: Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.*Essential Duties:** Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.* Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.* Create innovative, scalable, fault-tolerant software solutions to support and improve manufacturing operations.* Generate APIs, procedures, and triggers in relational databases using normalized data structuring.* Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.* Obtains and licenses software by obtaining required information from vendors; recommending purchases; testing and approving products.* Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.* Perform additional duties as assigned.*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** Strong DevOps focus and experience with Python, JavaScript (React/React Native), C++, and PL/SQL.* Proficiency with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc.* Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between.* Knowledge of Linux/Unix and scripting.* Familiarity of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.*Education and/or Experience: *Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar software engineering role.*Working Environment: *The engineer will be assigned an office where the typical environment will have minimal noise levels, but the job requires frequent visits to production and/or storage areas, where the production environment can become very dusty and loud.
